Sanibel Recreation & Community Center
Peter R. Brown Construction, Inc. was selected by the City of Sanibel, Florida to perform Construction Management Services for the new Sanibel Community Recreation Center project. The City of Sanibel is located on a barrier island just southwest of Ft. Myers, and lies between the Inter-coastal waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. The project consists of approximately 33,000 square feet of conditioned building space that includes, a multi-use Gymnasium, a dedicated Weight Room, Fitness Room, Lobby Area with Offices, Computer and Conference Room, Program Space, Arts & Crafts Room, Men’s and Women’s Locker and Restrooms, a Multi-Purpose Building for public functions, a Teen Room, miscellaneous offices, and Storage, Mechanical and Electrical Rooms. In addition, there is also an Aquatic Center that consists of a Competitive/Plunge Pool, Features & Exercise Pool and a Splash Pad for the children.
